C to G is a Perfect 5th. Aug 5 is C to G#, C to F# is a tritone. (tritone is what i meant to write in the previous comment instead of triad.)
I think this is in error by friend. C to F is a major 4th interval. Raising the F to F# creates a flatted 5th otherwise known as a triad. Aug 5 would be C to G#
